Rob is a professional keyboard player with over 25 years experience as a performer, writer and session player. He began playing at the age of 9 and was inspired to pursue music as a career in his early teens after discovering bands such as Deep Purple and Faith No More. He went on to study popular music at the University of Salford, graduating in 2003 with 1st class honours. Since then Rob has performed in many different bands covering a variety of music, ranging from progressive rock to metal to Motown and even Arabic! Rob's main keyboard influences are Jon Lord, Bruce Hornsby and Toto's David Paich and Steve Porcaro.

Playing keyboards for British rock band Inglorious between 2017 and 2022, including performances on the main stages at festivals such as Download, Graspop and Ramblin' Man Fair and headline shows at Shepherds Bush Empire and Nottingham Rock City. He also features on the albums We Will Ride and MMXXI: Live at the Phoenix.

Touring with singer/songriter Dan Whitehouse in support of his album The Glass Age and recording 3 songs at Peter Gabriel's Real World Studios in 2022.

Completing two tours with Doris Brendel in 2017/18, supporting Fish in the UK and Wishbone Ash in Europe, during which a live album 'Live in Hamburg Uncut' was recorded.

Working with the band Snakecharmer (as dep for Adam Wakeman) in 2018/19, playing alongside musicians including Neil Murray (Whitesnake, Black Sabbath, Brian May), Harry James (Thunder), Simon McBride (Deep Purple) and Laurie Wisefield (Wishbone Ash, Tina Turner, Joe Cocker).

Being part of the house band for 'Who's Drumming', a tribute to Keith Moon at the London Drum Show in 2018. This involved playing an hour long set of songs by the Who, with a guest drummer for each track including JR Robinson (Michael Jackson, Chaka Khan, Lionel Richie), Jamie Morrison (Stereophonics) and Pick Withers (Dire Straits).

Playing for countless function bands and theatre tribute shows all over the UK including Women in Rock, Barry Steele as Roy Orbison and A Foreigners Journey.
Most recently, Rob has been working with the Hayley Griffiths Band on their Metamorphosis tour and is looking forward to further shows with them in 2024.
